I'm always so amazed at the unique personality of each of our cats. Tiger Lilly, 2 photos of her shown here, has her idea of what makes up her daily routine. She wants to play in certain ways in the morning and at night. She will rarely go on my lap, but if I lean over her to hug her without picking her up, she purrs and seems to love that attention.

We love to be combed. We also love making our human clean our toilet and mess. :-) Purrs!
Every night at 10 PM my 20 yr old tabbie named Toby carries out a ritual as she has for the past 15 yrs. She has never played with toys, but she demands that I spend a few minutes before bed running a nylon shoe string around the bed for her to chase and snap at while she intermitently baths and gets ready for bed. The odd part is that she always yawns exactly 3 times before she fully enagages in playing. Never one yawn or 2, precisely 3 yawns to get up to full speed. Thank goodness that shoe string has held up to a million trips through the washing machine and has never been lost. Toby & Tiger Lily look very similar in markings/coloring, but Toby weighs less than 7 lbs.
We all have regularly scheduled playtime every night at 9PM and we love it...on time, each time.
